FOAL PURCHASING INFORMATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Included in the price of our weanlings is
appropriate registration papers, along with a signed transfer sheet, current
negative Coggins , interstate health papers written up by a licensed
veterinarian, deworming, vaccinations of the new owners choice, and a
halter and lead rope for transport..
DEPOSIT POLICY
Foals are sold on a first come, first serve
basis. When you have picked out your foal, notify us by a phone call or email.
We will send you a purchase agreement which is to be filled out and returned to
us, along with a deposit of 50% of the purchase price. We will accept a
personal check, certified check, bank draft or money order, or credit cards
through PayPal for deposits. Any type of check or money order should be sent
via USPS Priority Mail, with Delivery Confirmation, or UPS or FedEx overnight.
Email us the tracking number. If we do not receive the delivery
confirmation/tracking number on money sent, we will not consider this horse as
"reserved" and it will be subject to be sold until funds are received.
DEPOSIT REFUND
If we are not completely satisfied with the
health and over-all appearance of any foal, we will not allow the horse to be
purchased. If we are not satisfied with the horse's development at any time
prior to delivery we will cancel the sale and refund 100% of the deposit to the
buyer. If the horse is injured, or becomes ill prior to delivery, we will
cancel the sale and refund 100% of the deposit, or transfer the deposit to
another horse of your choice, depending on availability. If the client
changes their mind and no longer wishes to purchase their horse, no refund of
deposit will be possible.
PURCHASE POLICY
We require final payment (50%) prior to August
15th. Final payment may be made by PayPal, Certified Check, Bank Draft or any
Financial Institution money order sent via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery
Confirmation. Sorry but we cannot accept a personal check as final payment
unless the check is allowed to clear well in advance to the departure of the
horse. If sending money via USPS, please email us the delivery conformation
tracking number. All horses must be "PAID IN FULL" before they leave
the ranch. Failure to provide full payment before arranging delivery will
result in the loss of your deposit and your reserve for the horse that you have
chosen.
TRANSPORT and BORDER FEES
Foals may leave the ranch on or after August
20th. They will be weaned and halter broke by this time. We will keep your foal
free of charge until September 30th, so there is plenty of time to make
transport arrangements. We are very busy with our ranch and competition
schedules, so it is recommended that you make your own shipping arrangements.
We have several reputable commercial haulers that we have used in the past,
please contact us for their information or go to www.travelinghorse.com to get free
hauling quotes. Of course, buyers are always welcome to pick their own horse up
at the ranch! The buyer is responsible to make arrangements with the hauler and
is responsible for the payment to the hauler.
The foal is the sole responsibility of the buyer from the time it is paid for in full. We will keep your foal at the ranch free of charge until September 30th, (or for 30 days past the date on the original purchase agreement, whichever comes LATER) however, we will not be responsible for sickness, injury, or death of a foal that has been fully paid for and left at the ranch. We strongly recommend mortality insurance on foals that are paid for in full and left at the ranch.
